JOSHUA GOUZY
MUSIC DIRECTOR

A New Orleans native, Joshua Gouzy has been a music performer in the Big Easy since his early youth. He is a graduate of Loyola University with a degree in Music Education and a minor in Jazz Studies. He also has a Masters's in Music from the University of New Orleans. Joshua is an upright bassist and a member of fourteen New Orleans-based Jazz bands. He performs both locally and internationally with premier local New Orleans musicians whose talent and professionalism are of the highest caliber.

Joshua established Magnolia Entertainment to provide clients with New Orleans musicians of only the highest level of experience, musical talent, and professionalism for all corporate and social events. This is achieved while ensuring the booking process is an ease. Whether you have a particular New Orleans artist in mind or would prefer a customized band, Magnolia is dedicated to providing authentic New Orleans music at the highest level of excellence for any corporate or social event, locally, nationally, and internationally.

EVENTS SPECIALIST

Megan Gouzy was born and raised in Mandeville, right across Lake Pontchartrain from New Orleans. Megan earned her Bachelors in Marketing with a minor in Management from the University of New Orleans. She then received her Masters in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans. Megan then worked in hotel sales for several years in the historic New Orleans French Quarter. She is now Magnolia Entertainment's Events Specialist, handling every client's needs from beginning to end. Megan loves to match her client's individual needs with the perfect band to create an outstanding event.

Megan lives in her home town with her husband Joshua, and their Dachshund mix Porter. She loves to go listen to Joshua perform in her spare time and enjoy all that New Orleans has too offer: food, festivals, music, hospitality, and Hansen’s fruit punch snowballs!
